Spradley Legal Search, founded in 1990, by Charles D. Spradley, is one of the pioneers of the legal search and recruitment industry. The firm is well known throughout the Southwest United States for its professionalism, integrity and expert placement of partners and associates, lateral hiring, in-house counsel, and acquisitions of individual attorneys and practice groups, firm mergers and practice consolidations, primarily in the Houston and Dallas-Ft. Worth areas.
Over twenty-five years of in-depth knowledge of the legal industry and specialized practice area needs, long-standing relationships with clients and firms, and a unique understanding of a firm’s corporate culture, coupled with a sophisticated state-of-the-art confidential database, has enabled Spradley Legal Search to differentiate the firm and focus on building relationships and meeting the needs of its many clients.

Charles D. Spradley
Mr. Spradley was born and reared in Dallas, earning both BA (’78) and JD (’81) degrees from The University of Texas at Austin. He practiced corporate and real estate law with the Dallas law firm of Spradley, Rushing & Davis, and later as a sole practitioner, prior to becoming a legal recruiter. He and his wife, Anne, have two sons and are both active in Dallas civic, charitable and social organizations.
